A fairytale for the future
There was imbalance
in the kingdom.
In the north
the glaciers were melting.
In the south
the oceans rising.
The wisest people
created a star
and planted space flowers
to estimate the rise
of the next 100 years.
Every year they translated the data
into an amber ring,
as thick as the ocean rose
— and gave it to the king.
